myadvisor international Pty Ltd. (“myadvisor“, “we”, “us”) operates several websites including myadvisor.ai. It is myadvisor’s policy to fully comply with information privacy law and to respect your privacy regarding any personal information we may collect while operating our websites and providing our services.
Like most website operators, myadvisor collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. myadvisor’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how myadvisor’s visitors use its website. From time to time, myadvisor may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g. by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. myadvisor also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users in order to improve user experiences and implement appropriate web site security.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to myadvisor’s websites choose to interact with myadvisor in ways that require myadvisor to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that myadvisor gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a free trial or paid service plan to provide their first name, last name, phone number and email address. Those who engage in transactions with myadvisor – by purchasing access to a service, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including the information (such as credit-card details) required to process those transactions. In each case, myadvisor collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with myadvisor. myadvisor does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information. Deciding not to supply such information may mean a user is prevented from engaging in certain website-related activities, or acquiring services from us.
AdWords Remarketing is a remarketing and behavioural targeting service provided by Google. It connects the website visitor activity on www.myadvisor.ai with the Google Adwords advertising network. AdWords remarketing will display relevant ads on sites across the Internet, tailored to you based on what parts of the myadvisorHQ website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your machine. Third-party vendors, including Google, use these cookies to serve the ads. You can opt out of the cookie tracking here: http://google.com/settings/ads/onweb/optout?hl=en
myadvisor may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites. However, myadvisor does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
myadvisor discloses personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that need to know that information in order to process it on myadvisor’s behalf or to provide services available at myadvisor’s websites. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using myadvisor’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. myadvisor will not disclose personally-identifying information to other organisations for payment. Other than as described above, myadvisor only discloses personally-identifying information in response to a court order or other regulatory request, or when myadvisor believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of myadvisor, third parties or the public.
If you are a registered user of myadvisor and have supplied your email address, myadvisor may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with myadvisor and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. myadvisor takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
If myadvisor, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired by a purchaser of myadvisor’s business, or in the unlikely event that myadvisor ceases trading or becomes insolvent, myadvisor’s user database would be one of the assets that may be transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of myadvisor may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
